Although I am a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and editor of a major textbook on knee surgery, I specialize in the non-operative treatment of orthopaedic and sports medicine disorders. In particular we are able to successfully treat arthritis in most patients we see with moderate or severe arthritis without surgery, and discontinuing drugs. We never use cortisone. Instead we utilize platelet rich plasma (PRP), stem cell treatment, nutritional supplements, exercise programs and hyaluronic acid instead. We also have a high rate of success treating rotator cuff tears, Achilles tendon injuries and tennis elbow without surgery.
